I love reading personal development books. I think it is important to want to become a better person. I found that I was not as healthy as I thought I was and that is because I held bad habits. Reading motivational content kept me grounded and I feel that people should always consider reading them whenever they need a boost in life.
I started on my book The Self Starter Guide: To Self Development from A to Z in November of 2013. After years of procrastination (I'm guilty as well!) I finally got it self-published at the end of December 2015. I am so happy for this accomplishment and have been touched by the amount of positive feedback I have received.
I wanted to write a book that was simple. People could pick it up, get through a few chapters, and know exactly where they left off. They don't get bored. I don't include a lot of jargon from the self-help world that can sometimes throw people off. But at the same time, I wanted to inspire others so they can begin the journey I know they deserve.
